Meet Shai Goren
Originally from Jerusalem, Shai moved to Tel-Aviv and solidified himself as a leading guide in the center of the country. Gaining experience as an educator and instructor, he cultivated his expertise in politics and current events, working with large groups, political expeditions, parliament members, and the LGBT community.
Shai is a virtuoso guide that provides exciting tours, while touching on the pressing topics of the country, bringing a modernise approach into political and cultural trips. He views his tours as a “sociological research” of the place, exploring the sites with the purpose of discovering the “reality of living here.” Shai told us: “It’s not interesting if it doesn’t have controversy and a kick to it” – If you have a thirst for an Intellectually stimulating tour with a charismatic and unique individual, Shai is a person you have to meet.
• Shai Says
“Travel is a chance to expand your human mosaic, adding angles and perspectives. Israel draws her social values from her history, to understand what’s going on today, you need to dig backwards. History educates us on the current.”
• Story Time
Shai brought 120 members of the LGBT community to participate in a Friday dinner in the President’s home! “I brought them to a side of the wall that allows men and women together, seeing the President with my group felt as if something special was occurring.”

• Yoav Says
“Travelling is a platform that educates the mind to be more flexible, trains it to endure the challenges of life and presents you with true human encounters that make you re-examine your premises, stereotypes, and worldviews. I don’t believe in rocks; I believe in the story.”
• Story Time
On an unexpected adventure, Yoav accompanied a group of American Jews driving along with his Palestinian driver, who ended up inviting the group to join the end of the famous “Ramadan fast”… A group of right-wing Republicans sharing a meal with a Palestinian from east Jerusalem 🙂

“A place has tastes, smells, memories… it has many colours. People love to present the green, but there are more colours in the composition of a place. When I arrive at a new country, I try to take a bite of it and gain access to the essence of the local experience. I believe we’re not a fixed thing; we move, we have seasons and changing colours.”
• Story Time
Next to Ramon crater, walking through the desert, Anat guided a group meditation session where every member had to reflect on his experience. 10 minutes in, an older lady approached Anat in tears, sharing a personal story.
